Card Holder

What you need:card holder
• Clothespins
• Red and white paint
• Paint brush

What you do:
• Take the clothespins apart and paint the wooden pieces white or red.
• Let them dry.
• Paint snow flakes.
• Allow to dry completely and then put back together.
• Display your Christmas cards.

Glitter Ornaments

What you need:Glitter Ornament
• Clear Glass Ornament
• Glitter
• Floor Wax

What you do:
• Pour a little bit into the ornament, and swirl it around.
• Pour the excess back into the bottle.
• Pour in your glitter and swirl it around the same way as you did with the floor cleaner.
• Let it dry for a little while before putting the cap back on.
• Display.

Stencil Snowflakes

What you need:Stencil Snowflakes
Paper snowflakes
• Spray bottle with water
• Sponge
• White toothpaste
• Bowl

What you do:
• Spray the window or mirror with water.
• Attach the paper snowflakes to the surface.
• In the bowl mix toothpaste with a little bit of water (the mixture should be about the consistency of sour cream).
• With the sponge, apply the toothpaste mixture to the paper snowflake and the glass around it.
• Apply the toothpaste mixture using an up-and-down dabbing motion.
• Let it dry a little.
• Pull the paper snowflake straight off the glass.
• Let the “paint” dry.

Tip: Easily removed with warm water.

Framed Pine Cones

What you need:Pinecone Art
• Pine cones
• Tacky glue
• Ribbon
• Frame
• Scissors

What you do:
•  With the  frame on the table, arrange your pine cones and stagger the height.
• Measure how much ribbon you’ll need to reach the frame and then add 2″. cut a piece of ribbon for each pine cone.
• Glue one end of each strip of ribbon to a pine cone.
• Flip frame over so that the back of the frame is up.
• Make sure all pine cones are in place and place the ribbon under the frame.
• Run a small strip of tacky glue along the back of the frame where each end of the ribbon wraps around.
• Fold the ribbon ends over the adhesive and display!

Reindeer Art

What you need:Reindeer art
• Canvas
• Acrylic Paint
• Feet
• Brush
• Sharpie

What you do:
• Brush  paint onto the  foot and press the foot gently on to the canvas.
• Let it dry.
• Draw or paint the antlers.
• Draw the eyes.
• Paint the nose.

Soda Can Angels

What you need:soda can angels
• Soda cans
• Acrylic paint
• Coffee filters
• Tacky glue
• Scissors
• Pipe cleaner
• Tape

What you do:
•Pull off the tab of the can.
• Using a skin color acrylic paint , paint the top of the can.
• Color the can any color you like.
• Let it dry.
• Carefully push down on the middle of the can so the top faces you.
•Use coffee filter  to make  the wings and tape them to the back of your angel.
• Use pipe cleaner  to make a halo. Glue it to the can.

Elf on the Shelf

What you need:Elf on the shelf
• Sock
• Jingle  Bell
• Googly eyes
• Tacky glue
• String
• Stuffing
• Ribbon
• A rubber band

What you do:
•  Fill  the toe of your sock with stuffing to create your elf’s body and head.
• Tie off and secure the body and with a string.
• Tie the top of the sock.
• Glue the  jingle bell to the tip of the sock.
• To form the elf’s nose, use your fingertips to grasp a small bunch of stuffing about halfway down from the top of the sock. Wrap a rubber band around the base of the bunch to secure it.
• Glue on the eyes.
• Decorate with a ribbon.

Winter Birds

What you need:Winter Birds
• Canvas
• Blue watercolor
• Brush
• Small branch
• Rocks
• Black sharpie
• Small pompoms
• Tacky glue

What you do:
• Color the canvas blue.
• Let it dry.
• Glue the branch to the canvas.
• Let it dry.
• Glue the rocks above the branch (these are going to be your birds).
• Let them dry.
• Draw the birds’ legs and the eyes with the sharpie.
• Glue the pompoms for snow.
• Display.

DIY Necklace

What you need:DIY Necklace
• Clear Gel Tacky Glue
• Scissors
• Fabric scraps ( 2-2 1/2” wide and 15” in length for roses and what ever you need for the necklace plus 5 inches)
• Lobster clasp
• Two jump rings

What you do:
For Flowers:

• Fold the fabric in half and roll a tight center, about 4 or 5 rolls.
• Glue and start to twist your fabric.
• Keep working your way around by adding a drop of glue and twisting every half turn or so.  Just try to keep it tight.
• Once you reach the desired width of your flower just cut the strip of fabric with 1-2” of fabric left.
• Add a drop of glue to the bottom, center of your flower.
• Fold the  fabric strip over the bottom of your flower to secure it.  Trim if needed.
• Once you have made all three flowers and they have been able to dry for 24 hours, you can finish your necklace.
• Take 3 pieces of fabric.
• Pin the ends together and pin it somewhere so you can braid it.
• Attach the clasp.
•  Flip your flowers upside down and glue them to the necklace.
• Let it dry overnight.

Knot Bracelet

What you need:knot bracelet
• 1.5 foot leather cord
• bracelet clasp

What you do:
• Fold cord in half and thread fold through clasp ring.
• While holding folded end in one hand, thread tail ends through loop.
•  Pull ends to secure cord to clasp ring.
• Lay cord with clasp at top of work.
• Holding one cord in each hand, wrap left cord over and around right cord; then thread left cord end through hole above wrap.
•  Pull to make a knot just below lobster clasp.
• Repeat previous step to make knots to the end of the bracelet.
• When desired length of bracelet is reached, make one last knot and trim ends.
• To wear bracelet, attach  clasp between cords above last knot.

Foil Icicles

What you need:
• Foil
• Scissors
• Glue
• Glitter
• Ornament hook

What you do:
• Cut a piece of foil that is about 6″ long and 4 1/2″ wide at the top narrowing to 3″ wide at the bottom.
• Squish the foil lengthwise, then roll between your palms; one end should be sharpish and the other end flatten between your fingers.
• Apply glue all over the icicle.
• Cover icicle with fine glitter and tap off.
• Pierce flattened end of icicle with sharp scissors and attach the ornament hook.
•  Fold over the foil and squish foil and hook end together.
• Display.

Bird Ornament

What you need:
•small Styrofoam ball
• roving or loosing spun wool yarn
• small eye screws
• glue for Styrofoam
• feathers
• scraps of felt in white and yellow
• tacky glue
• sharpie
•needlefelting needle
• scissors

What you do:
• Cover the Styrofoam ball with the wool.
•  Using the needle felting needle felt stab the roving into the Styrofoam ball until it is felted in place.
•Attach the hanger – Put a dab of foam glue on the end of the eye screw.
• Screw into the Styrofoam ball.
• Let dry.
• Add feathers.
• Add the eyes – Cut circles from the white felt and make a black dot with a sharpie.
• Glue the circles on top of the feather.
•Add the beak – Cut a triangle from the orange or yellow felt.
• Glue in place under the eyes.
• Display.
