• Dip a finger in the paint.
• Make finger prints in different colors on the wires.
• Draw the rest of the birds with the sharpie.

What you need:
• Corn starch
• Water
• Baking Soda
• Food Coloring
• Film Canisters
• Alka-Seltzer
• Paper
What you do:
• Mix together 1/3 part corn starch, 1/3 part soda, and 1/3 part water.
• Fill each film canister 1/3 of the way with the mixture.
• Add few drops of food coloring, mix.
• Take one alka-seltzer tablet and break it into 3-4 pieces.
• Drop the pieces into the canister, and then quickly pop the top on and flip the canister over.
• Stand back and enjoy the art.
• The film canister will fly through the air like a rocket, leaving beautiful art behind.
What you need:
• Canvas
• Paint
• Bok Choy
• Cutting board
• Knife
• Brush
What you do:
• Using the knife, cut off the bottom of the bok choy.
• The bok choy leaves can be saved to make a dinner. (The closer to the bottom you cut, the tighter the “rose petals” will be.)
• Paint the back ground.
• Let it dry.
• Use the brush to apply a light coating of paint to the cut side of the bok choy.
• Use this as a stamp to make roses on the canvas.
• Use green paint and the paint brush to make rose stems and leaves.
• When finished, wash off the paint from the bok choy and compost it.
• Let you artwork dry.
• Display!
What you need:
• Paper
• Acrylic Paints
• Potato
• Heart shaped cookie cutter
• Small, sharp pairing knife
What you do:
• Cut the potato in half near the widest portion.
• Using the small heart shaped cookie cutter, insert it into the potato until the top is flush with the flat end of the potato.
• Using a small sharp pairing knife, cut into the potato about 1/4 of an inch down until you feel your knife touch the cookie cutter.
• Continue cutting all the way around the potato until the waste is easily removed.
• Start stamping the hearts!

• Place a big drop of paint on the sheet with a brush.
• Take the straw and blow the paint towards the desired direction.

• Paint the canvas (make the background).
• Let it dry.
• Paint hands.
• Press the hands on the canvas. (Fingers need to face outward, while the palm towards the center).
• Using a paint brush, fill in some spots of the handprints that didn’t really show up.
• Paint the necks of the swans in a heart shape.
• Let it dry.
• Paint the beak and the eyes.
•Let it dry completely.
What you need:
• Pine cones
• Tacky glue
• Ribbon
• Frame
• Scissors
What you do:
• With the frame on the table, arrange your pine cones and stagger the height.
• Measure how much ribbon you’ll need to reach the frame and then add 2″. cut a piece of ribbon for each pine cone.
• Glue one end of each strip of ribbon to a pine cone.
• Flip frame over so that the back of the frame is up.
• Make sure all pine cones are in place and place the ribbon under the frame.
• Run a small strip of tacky glue along the back of the frame where each end of the ribbon wraps around.
• Fold the ribbon ends over the adhesive and display!

What you do:
• Brush paint onto the foot and press the foot gently on to the canvas.
• Let it dry.
• Draw or paint the antlers.
• Draw the eyes.
• Paint the nose.

• Painting the palm area of the hands a tan color leaving a strip at the top of the palm unpainted.
• Paint each finger a different color; these are the feathers.
• Press the handprint down.
• Let it dry.
• Using the sharpie, finish the Native Americans.
