Foil Panting

What you need:Foil Painting
• Canvas
• Aluminum foil
• Dish soap
• Acrylic paint
• Brushes

What you do:
• Wrap the foil around the canvas.
• Mix dish soap with acrylic paint (that helps paint to stick to the foil better).
• Paint.
• Let it dry.

Foil Pictures

What you need:
• Foil
• Cardboard
• Pencil
• Glue stick
• Tacky glue
• Cotton swab
• Black shoe polish

What you do:
• Draw your picture on the cardboard.
• Use a thick, tacky glue to go over the lines and let dry.
• Use a glue stick to attach the foil to your picture.
• Press foil down around dry glue lines.( Use a paper towel over your fingers as you rub to avoid tearing the foil. )
• Then use a cotton swab up against the glue outlines once the foil is pressed down, just to be sure the glue outlines show up really well.
•  Draw patterns in all of the spaces with a dull pencil.
• Once you’ve filled all of the spaces, rub over the whole thing with black shoe polish, wait a few seconds, and wipe off.
• Display.

Foil Icicles

What you need:
• Foil
• Scissors
• Glue
• Glitter
• Ornament hook

What you do:
• Cut a piece of foil that is about 6″ long and 4 1/2″ wide at the top narrowing to 3″ wide at the bottom.
• Squish the foil lengthwise, then roll between your palms; one end should be sharpish and the other end flatten between your fingers.
• Apply glue all over the icicle.
• Cover icicle with fine glitter and tap off.
• Pierce flattened end of icicle with sharp scissors and attach the ornament hook.
•  Fold over the foil and squish foil and hook end together.
• Display.
