Bird Ornament

What you need:
•small Styrofoam ball
• roving or loosing spun wool yarn
• small eye screws
• glue for Styrofoam
• feathers
• scraps of felt in white and yellow
• tacky glue
• sharpie
•needlefelting needle
• scissors

What you do:
• Cover the Styrofoam ball with the wool.
•  Using the needle felting needle felt stab the roving into the Styrofoam ball until it is felted in place.
•Attach the hanger – Put a dab of foam glue on the end of the eye screw.
• Screw into the Styrofoam ball.
• Let dry.
• Add feathers.
• Add the eyes – Cut circles from the white felt and make a black dot with a sharpie.
• Glue the circles on top of the feather.
•Add the beak – Cut a triangle from the orange or yellow felt.
• Glue in place under the eyes.
• Display.
