Little Chick

What you need:Little Chick
• Styrofoam ball
• Yellow paint
• Googly eyes
• Feather
• Empty egg shell
• Brush
• Plasticine
• Glue
• Pipe cleaner
• Scissors

What you do:
• Paint the Styrofoam ball yellow.
• Let it dry.
• Glue the googly eyes to the ball.
• Glue the feather on top of the ball.
• Cut a small piece of the orange pipe cleaner and glue it to the front of the ball.
• Place  apiece of Plasticine on the bottom of the egg shell for stability.
• Put the little chick on top of the Plasticine.
• Display.

Broken Egg Vase

What you need:broken egg vase1
• 1 egg
• water
• Plasticine
• flowers
• ribbon

What you do:
• Break the top off your egg by tapping around the egg with a knife and then cracking the top off.
• Wash the egg and let it dry.
• Put a piece of Plasticine on the bottom of the eggshell to make it stable.
• Tie a ribbon around the broken egg vase.
• Half fill the egg with water.
• Cut your flowers extremely short and place inside the egg.
• Display.

Cracked Egg Candle

What you need:cracked egg candle1
• 1 egg
• 4 cups water
• 4 teaspoons of white vinegar
• food coloring
• tealight candle (without the metal wrapping)

What you do:
• Break the top off your egg by tapping around the egg with a knife and then cracking the top off.
• Tip the contents of the egg into a bowl and then carefully rinse the egg out with water.
• Put your water and vinegar into a bowl and then add enough food coloring to make the water a bright color.
• Carefully put your egg into the water and leave it in there until it turns the color you want.
• Remove your egg from the water and leave it to dry.
• Once you are sure your egg has completely dried, place your teacup candle inside the egg, making sure that the wick faces upwards.
• Put your egg inside an eggcup and carefully light the candle.
• Once the candle has burned for a few minutes, it will begin to mold into the shape of the egg and look even prettier.

Paper Ladybug

• Black marker
• Scissors

Paper Boat

What you need:
• Paper

Bok Choy Roses

What you need:Bok Choy Roses
• Canvas
• Paint
• Bok Choy
• Cutting board
• Knife
•  Brush

What you do:
• Using the knife, cut off the bottom of the bok choy.
• The bok choy leaves  can be saved to make a dinner. (The closer to the bottom you cut, the tighter the “rose petals” will be.)
• Paint the back ground.
• Let it dry.
• Use the  brush to apply a light coating of paint to the cut side of the bok choy.
• Use this as a stamp to make roses on the canvas.
• Use green paint and the paint brush to make rose stems and leaves.
• When finished, wash off the paint from the bok choy and compost it.
• Let you artwork dry.
• Display!

3D Flower Art

What you need:3d flowers1
• Canvas
• Acrylic paint
• Egg carton
• Scissors
• Beads
• Green pipe cleaners
• Bow
• Tacky glue

• Paint the egg carton white.
• Let it dry.
•  Cut  apart egg carton sections.
• Trim each “flower” to have petals.
• Paint the egg carton sections yellow and orange.
• Let them dry.
• Paint the canvas with any color of your choice.
• Let it dry.
• Trim pipe cleaners to the right length.
• Tie them together for a stem.
• Glue to the canvas with tacky glue.
• Glue a bead in the center of each flower.
• Glue the flowers to the canvas.
• Display!

Heart Stamp

What you need:Heart stamp
•  Paper
• Acrylic Paints
• Potato
• Heart shaped cookie cutter
• Small, sharp pairing knife

What you do:
• Cut the potato in half near the widest portion.
• Using the small heart shaped cookie cutter, insert it into the potato until the top is flush with the flat end of the potato.
• Using a small sharp pairing knife, cut into the potato about 1/4 of an inch down until you feel your knife touch the cookie cutter.
• Continue cutting all the way around the potato until the waste is easily removed.
• Start stamping the hearts!

3D Heart

What you need:3D Heart
• Egg carton
• Paint (white and red)
• Canvas
• Glue
• Scissors
• Brush

• Paint the egg carton white.
• Let it dry.
•  Cut  apart egg carton sections.
• Trim evenly.
• Glue the sections to the canvas.
• Let it dry.
• Color everything red.
• Let it dry.
• Display.

Modeling Clay

What you need:Modeling Clay1
• 4 cups flour
• 1 cup of fine salt
• 1 1/2 cups water

What you do:
• Work the ingredients together to form the clay.
• Store the clay in a sealed container until it is needed.
• Bake the finished pieces on a non-stick cookie sheet at 350°F for approximately one hour or until they are slightly brown around the edges.
• Cool the baked clay items on a wire rack before using them or painting them.

DIY Hedgehog

What you need:DIY Hedgehog
• Old paperback books
• Pompom
• Googly eyes
• Glue

What you do:
• Remove the front and back cover from the book.
• Starting on the first page, fold the page in half inward.
• Fold the corners of each page inward.
•  Repeat these folds on each page, but after the first page, make the folds toward the front cover, this holds the first folds in and keeps them from unfolding.
• Glue googly eyes.
• Glue a pompom for the nose.

Note: Makes a great pencil holder.

Glitter Ornaments

What you need:Glitter Ornament
• Clear Glass Ornament
• Glitter
• Floor Wax

What you do:
• Pour a little bit into the ornament, and swirl it around.
• Pour the excess back into the bottle.
• Pour in your glitter and swirl it around the same way as you did with the floor cleaner.
• Let it dry for a little while before putting the cap back on.
• Display.
